Our event menus are designed for shared, social dining, bringing together Mediterranean-inspired flavours. From curated canapé selections to generous shared feasts like the Spartans Spread and Emperor’s Banquet, each menu is crafted to suit both cocktail-style events and seated occasions.

 
 
 
 

FAQs

  • Minimum spends vary depending on the day, time, and exclusivity of the space. As a guide:

    • Weekdays (non-December): from $1,000 to $3,000

    • Weekends: from $4,000 to $8,000

    • December exclusive hire: from $13,000

    All minimum spends are fully redeemable on food and beverage. A 5% service fee applies to all bookings before December, and 10% in December.

  • Yes. A 50% deposit of the minimum spend is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due seven days prior to your event unless otherwise arranged.

  • Yes, you’re welcome to bring decorations and a celebration cake. We kindly ask that you avoid confetti, feathers, or glitter, as these damage the venue’s surfaces. Cakeage is $5 per person if you’d like our team to serve it. We can also store your cake on the day and present it at your preferred time.

  • Outside food or beverage is not permitted, other than a celebration cake. Our kitchen and bar can cater for all dietary needs and preferences.

  • For groups of 10 or more, we recommend our chef’s set menu — a relaxed two-hour dining experience featuring a variety of starters, entrées, and shared mains. For cocktail-style events, we offer a range of canapé and grazing packages, as well as bottomless brunch options for daytime events.

  • Absolutely. We cater for all dietary requirements with notice.

  • Fable is an open-plan rooftop venue. While we don’t have enclosed private rooms, we can section off areas to create a semi-private space for your group with minimal foot traffic.

  • We have two microphones and in-house sound that can be used for speeches and light background music. DJs and entertainment are welcome by prior arrangement.

  • Bump-in and bump-out times depend on the booking type. Typically, setup is available 30–60 minutes prior to your event start time. Our events team will confirm access details closer to the date.

  • Yes. Wilson Parking and Secure Parking both have locations within a short walk of the venue. We recommend Wilson Parking at 222 Russell Street for closest access.

  • Our rooftop features a fully retractable roof and heating, so your event can proceed comfortably in any weather.

  • Yes, depending on the day and booking type. For semi-private bookings, guests are welcome to remain in the venue once the minimum spend period has ended.

  • Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event will forfeit the deposit. Cancellations within 7 days may incur additional charges if stock or staffing has already been allocated.
